FrankinWOLFF End User License Agreement
Effective: October 11, 2026
Licensor: RQYVE LLC, trading as FrankinSuite ("we", "us").
Contact: support@frankinsuite.com
By installing or using FrankinWOLFF (the "Software") you agree to this license. If you do not agree, do not install it, and ask for a refund under the Refund Policy.
1. What you get
When you buy FrankinWOLFF you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the Software:
- for one person (you), on any number of computers you own or use yourself;
- for personal or commercial work, including work you are paid for;
- including every 1.x update we release. A future major version (2.0 and later) may be sold separately.
The Software is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights we do not expressly grant here.
2. What you may not do
- Share, resell, rent, lend, sublicense or publish the Software, the download, or your license, in original or modified form.
- Remove or alter copyright notices or this license.
- Use the Software to build a competing product from its source code.
You may read and change the hook scripts and templates for your own use. Changes you make are yours to keep on your own computers; you may not distribute them as part of, or as a replacement for, the Software.
3. Earlier open-source releases
Versions of FrankinWOLFF before 1.0 were published under the Apache License 2.0. Copies of those versions remain under that license. This agreement covers version 1.0 and later.
4. Other people's software
- The Software and its installer include open-source components that remain under their own licenses. Those licenses are listed in
THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt, which ships with the Software, and nothing in this agreement limits your rights under them. The installer also contains Microsoft's Edge WebView2 bootstrapper, which downloads WebView2 from Microsoft if it is missing; both are licensed to you by Microsoft under Microsoft's own terms. - Microsoft's WebView2 software. The WebView2 bootstrapper in the installer, and the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime it downloads and installs, are Microsoft software. They are not part of the Software, and this agreement does not license them to you. By installing or using the Software, you agree to the Microsoft Software License Terms for the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime, published at https://developer.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge/api/eula/webview2, as they apply to that Microsoft software. Without limiting those terms: that software is licensed, not sold, and Microsoft keeps all rights it does not grant. Unless the law gives you more rights despite this, you may not (a) get around any technical limits in it that restrict how you can use it; (b) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, or otherwise try to derive its source code, except as far as the license terms of open-source components in it require; (c) remove, obscure, block or alter any notice of Microsoft or its suppliers in it; (d) use it in any way that is against the law, or to create or spread malware; or (e) share, publish, distribute or lease it, offer it on its own for others to use, or transfer it or Microsoft's terms to anyone else. You must comply with the export laws and regulations that apply to it. Microsoft provides it "as is", gives no express warranties, guarantees or conditions, and, as far as the law allows, excludes all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You can recover from Microsoft and its suppliers only direct damages up to U.S. $5.00, and no other damages, including consequential, special, indirect or incidental damages or lost profits. Your local consumer law may give you more rights, as those terms explain. The WebView2Loader code built into the app is also Microsoft's: Microsoft licenses it under a permissive BSD-style license, which is reproduced in
THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. - NSIS, the installer's engine. The installer, and the uninstaller it adds to your computer, are built with NSIS, which is open-source software made by its contributors. Most of NSIS is under the zlib/libpng license. Its LZMA compression module, which unpacks the Software during installation, is under the Common Public License 1.0 (the "CPL"). We distribute that module to you in object code under this agreement, as the CPL allows. Any term of this agreement that differs from the CPL is offered by RQYVE LLC alone and not by any other party. Examples are the refund in section 6 and the Refund Policy, the limit in section 8, and the choice of Delaware law in section 10. Source code for NSIS, including the LZMA module, is available from us: write to support@frankinsuite.com and we will send you a copy. The NSIS project also publishes it at https://sourceforge.net/projects/nsis/files/.
THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txtnames the NSIS version in your installer and its source archive, links the folder that holds that archive, and reproduces the NSIS licenses in full. - FrankinWOLFF works with Claude Code, which is made by Anthropic and is not part of the Software. You need your own Claude Code installation and account, under Anthropic's terms. FrankinSuite is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. "Claude" and "Claude Code" are trademarks of Anthropic.
- The Software also needs Git for Windows and Node.js, installed by you under their own licenses.
5. Your files and your data
- The Software runs entirely on your computer. FrankinWOLFF's own code makes no network connections and sends us nothing: no telemetry, no usage data, no license checks. Its window is drawn by Microsoft Edge WebView2, a Windows component that Microsoft keeps up to date and that sends diagnostic data and crash reports to Microsoft under Microsoft's privacy terms.
- The Software includes Microsoft Defender SmartScreen, as part of WebView2. When SmartScreen is on, it collects and sends your information to Microsoft, as disclosed in Microsoft's Privacy Statement at https://aka.ms/privacy and in the Microsoft Edge Privacy Whitepaper at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/privacy-whitepaper#smartscreen. This is separate from the Windows SmartScreen warning described in section 6.
- To work, it reads and writes files on your computer: it registers its hooks in your Claude Code user settings (
%USERPROFILE%\.claude\settings.json), keeps its project list and session state under%USERPROFILE%\.claude\, and reads and writes the memory files (.aurora\) and progress files in the project folders you register. - The installer adds and removes only FrankinWOLFF's own hook entries in your Claude Code settings and keeps a backup. It also raises Claude Code's transcript-retention setting (
cleanupPeriodDays) so that your saved sessions are not deleted. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of your projects and settings.
6. Unsigned software
The Windows installer is not code-signed. Windows SmartScreen may warn you, and Windows 11 Smart App Control may block installation entirely. If you cannot install the Software for this reason, you are entitled to a refund under the Refund Policy.
7. No warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Software is error-free, that it will work with every version of Claude Code, Windows, Git or Node.js, or that Claude will follow the context and reminders the Software provides. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ALSO DISCLAIM, ON OUR OWN BEHALF AND ON BEHALF OF EVERY OTHER NSIS CONTRIBUTOR, ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EXPRESS AND IMPLIED, FOR NSIS AND ITS LZMA MODULE (SEE SECTION 4). THIS INCLUDES WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SOFTWARE OR THIS AGREEMENT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE, AND WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST DATA, LOST PROFITS OR LOST WORK, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ALSO EXCLUDE, ON BEHALF OF EVERY OTHER NSIS CONTRIBUTOR, ALL LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES ARISING IN ANY WAY FROM NSIS AND ITS LZMA MODULE, THEIR USE OR THEIR DISTRIBUTION. THIS INCLUDES DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SUCH AS LOST PROFITS. OUR OWN LIABILITY TO YOU, INCLUDING FOR NSIS, IS SET BY THE FIRST PARAGRAPH OF THIS SECTION 8, AND THAT LIMIT IS OFFERED BY RQYVE LLC ALONE.
9. Ending this license
This license ends automatically if you break it, or if you receive a refund. When it ends you must uninstall the Software and delete your copies. Sections 3, 4, 7, 8 and 10 survive.
10. General
- This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Consumer protection laws of your country of residence still apply where they cannot be waived.
- If a court finds part of this agreement unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- This agreement, the Terms of Sale and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Software.
- We may publish a revised license for future versions; the license that came with the version you installed governs that version.
